What is PIRANHA Dual Agent Restaurant Fire Suppression System?

The PIRANHA Dual Agent Restaurant Fire Suppression System combines the strengths of two effective extinguishing agents: the rapid flame control and containment abilities of wet chemical, and the swift cooling properties of water. This system offers comprehensive protection for a variety of environments, including casual and upscale dining establishments, fast food franchises, culinary schools, sports complexes, stadiums, and high-end hotels.

Distinguished as the sole agent-plus-water fire suppression hybrid currently available, the PIRANHA System surpasses traditional single-agent systems in performance. It combats fires by rapidly subduing flames and securing the area with the potent PRX Liquid Fire Suppressant. Following this initial action, water is employed to rapidly lower temperatures in the cooking medium, further mitigating the risk of reignition.

Extensive tests have demonstrated notable improvements in firefighting effectiveness:

  • Coverage area double that of conventional single-agent systems
  • Cooling down cooking oils 15 times faster than conventional single-agent systems
  • 60 percent reduction in required chemical agent while achieving superior coverage of hazardous zones
  • Adaptable overlapping nozzle coverage suitable for a wide range of appliance configurations
  • Reduced need for smaller and fewer agent storage tanks per system
